About
My name is Sherry Higdon and I’m a Marketing Consultant from Louisville, Kentucky. I live here with my wonderful husband and our sons.
I have been involved with network marketing for a few years now and absolutely love it. I’ve made some of the best friends ever through my networking experiences.
My favorite part of this business is the follow up and follow through. I’m often surprised at how many people can conquer the difficult task of producing leads then can’t seem to talk to them.
I learned through my early days how to use the consultative approach. When done correctly it can absolutely make those conversations with possible business partners a whole new and enjoyable experience.
Once I learned how to use this process I was able to sponsor over twenty people each month into my organization. But before you can master the consultative approach you obviously have to have people to talk to. That is where you have some work ahead of you.
As independent entrepreneurs we must never become dependent upon anyone else for any aspect of our business. It is one thing to gleen from someone else’s skills and knowledge they have used successfully but it is another to allow your success to become totally dependent upon that for your survival — not good.
What do I have to offer?
In life we are more than just entrepreneurs. Our lives are made up of at least five main components including: physical, financial, emtional, social and spiritual. We are complex beings indeed. What does that have to do with your network marketing business?
Well it has everything to do with your business because your business success or lack thereof directly affects every component of your life. We’ll talk more in depth about all this in upcoming posts so stay tuned.
One of my strengths is support and encouragement. As an entrepreneur I know what it feels like to be the ‘lone wolf’ trying to make it with those closest to you telling you all this is a bad idea or will never work. I know the feeling of having your loved ones give you ‘that look’ whenever you try to talk about your business.
Sometimes in order to keep on ‘keepin’ on’ we just need someone to acknowledge they know what we are going through. Many times people expect that from their upline but are disappointed when they learn that is not going to happen.
I am confident that with the right support, encouragement and direction success is not only possible but probable.
Until next time!
