Don’t What If It To Death Anymore…

3d human with a red question markGood Monday Morning Ya’ll,

Well I have a word for somebody this morning. First I want to say I hope you are ever moving forward to achieving your hopes, dreams and visions. Today I want to take just a few moments to talk about all the ‘What If’s’ you may be experiencing.

Do you ever find yourself caught up in the ‘What If’ wheel going over and over in your mind. For example:

*What if I’d gotten started years ago?
*What if I’d got that training instead of this one?
*What if I’d joined that business instead of this one?
*What if I’d bought that system instead of this one?
*What if I’d listened to him?
*What if I’d listened to her?
*What if I’d listened to Uncle Fred?

Well I could go on and on for days with all this and it surely is not only related to business. Our minds are a battlefield most of the time. We are either in the process of making decisions or trying to live with the ones we’ve made then attempting to second guess before we make the next one! Whew!

Relative to your business or your attempt to build a business I’d like to chime in with my two-sense if that’s okay with you. I’d like to encourage you today to stop ‘What If’ing’ yourself to death and relax.

The truth is you have not done anything wrong if you have joined more than one business opportunity. Let me ask you a challenge question here. What if you had not kept looking after the first four didn’t work out and the fifth one made you a millionaire? What if you had stopped believing in systems and then the last one you learned and implemented made you a multi-millionaire?

You will never know which person, which company, which training, which system is right for you if you quit. It may be the 13th company you’ve looked at or listened to the opportunity call but what the heck? You are an entrepreneur and entrepreneurs are risk takers. Without the risk takers this world would be a very sad place indeed.

There is one very successful internet-network marketer you see everywhere online. I’ve read more than one of his emails where he is really barating someone for questioning if they should invest in more training. His opinion is your library cannot be too extensive and that you should continually be expanding your mind. I agree.

Another point is that just as learning styles are different so are teaching styles. You may watch one person’s training on Twitter and just not get it and then listen to someone else and BINGO you got a kabillion followers and tweeting your little heart out! Sound familiar?

My goal is to send the message that you are okay and not wrong for all you’ve invested in and all you are trying to accomplish. I want to encourage you to keep forging ahead. Don’t ever quit and don’t ever give up. I know we read and hear this all the time but it never gets old because as entrepreneurs we strive very hard everyday and need to be reminded.

So allow yourself to exhale and keep right on doing what you do and if it has not already eventually you will hit pay dirt.

Wealth Buys Options…

do-you-like-money1Well Good Monday Morning Ya’ll,

I won’t keep you long today. Just wanted to share a word that is more of a reminder than anything that – success is not for everyone. Why is that? Because few and I mean very few will do what it takes to enter the ranks of the truly successful.

I think it is important that you have someone in your life who will constantly remind you that it is okay to be successful minded. It is absolutely okay for you to be determined to reach your financial and life goals and dreams. It is okay for you to be ‘free’ from the life enslaving J-O-B that so many people cling to all their lives and fight for even now.

If you listen to men like Bob Proctor or Jim Rohn or Donald Trump or Robert Kiosyaki or Bill Gates they would tell you the same thing. They would go so far as to tell you that it is your duty to follow your dreams and realize success because you are then able to contribute to society in a way that you never could before.

It may feel a little awkward or even difficult at first to hear that you should not listen to the naysayers. You have to remember those folks live scared and they encourage everyone in their world to do the same. They would rather die in their fear than to break out and reach for the stars.

These people are of the opinion that if you want millions or heaven forbid multi-millions then you are selfish. In reality having that kind of money would allow you to do more for others than you’d ever be able to do in a lifetime living paycheck to paycheck.

The bottom line is wealth can buy something I consider to be almost priceless – options. If you are wealthy you have options to do anything necessary to better your health. You can afford to belong to a gym, have a trainer, take the best nutritional supplements money can buy. If you’re wealthy you have the option of taking your spouse and going to a resort get away. You can live where you want to live, live how you want to live, and do it well. You can afford to help your children find their passions and turn those into their success. You can live with peace not worrying how you will make it.

Options and freedom go hand in hand and there is nothing – absolutely nothing – wrong with either one. If you are an entrepreneur either just starting out or seasoned I encourage you to bite down on your determination to obtain the life that allows you to have every option/freedom you could ever want and never let go.

To Your Success!!!

The Common Denominator of Success

Good Monday Morning Ya’ll,

In my previous post I shared with you about a mentoring program done by Bob Proctor.  Everyone needs a mentor that has accomplished way more than you have even if you’re already wildly successful. The point of a mentor is to speak words of wisdom to you through his or her own accomplishments.

One of the articles  I found particularly interesting was one where Bob talks about the common elements to success. The concept is so simple it’s profound and I wanted to share a little of that here with you today. In that article Bob refers to a speech done by Albert E. Gray entitled The Common Denominator of Success in which Mr. Gray reveals:

The common denominator of success – the secret of success of every person who has ever been successful – lies in the fact that they formed the habit of doing things that failures don’t like to do.

Wow — that is so simple yet so profound. As I was reading this article and started applying to the different layers of my life I was amazed. It was very eye opening to think that whatever you don’t achieve in your life for lack of ‘doing’ puts you in the rank of failures. For entrepreneurs like us that is just unacceptable.

I thought of the example of a person who desperately wants to lose weight not only to be healthy but to look an feel good, “So if you don’t develop the habit of eating to live long and strong and settle into the weight that makes you happy to be you then you are a failure like 97% of the population who will never attain their perfect weight and health.”

Folks I don’t know about you but that is something I just cannot live with. Mr. Gray continued with some other sobering words:

It is easier to adjust ourselves to the hardships of a poor living than it is to adjust ourselves to the hardships of making a better one.  If you doubt me, just think of all the things you are willing to go without in order to avoid doing the things you don’t like to do.

Again all I could say when reading this was – wow. Mr. Gray’s quest to find the common denominator of success brought him to the conclusion that every single qualification for success is acquired through habit.

People form habits and habits form futures.

He says if you do not deliberately form good habits, then unconsciously you will form bad ones. You have become the person you are today through the habits you currently have and the only way to change is by changing your habits.

Relative to being an internet-network marketing entrepreneur this information is critical. It basically enlightens us to the truth that if we want to own a successful home based business – mlm or otherwise – then we must form the habits that lead to success. I guess the first question to ask yourself is if you are willing to pay the price to have the success you so desperately desire?

So if you’re looking for some great mlm tips or mlm training here it is – do what the failures won’t do and do it until it becomes habit and you will enter the ranks of the successful forever. I say it will put you in the ranks of the ‘elite’ and who does not want to be there?

Are You Trying To Reinvent The Wheel?

3d human try to turn the gearsWell Good Monday Morning Ya’ll,

So you found network marketing and you either fell in love with it or at least decided this was the ticket to give you the freedom and independence you desire.

You joined a company that you absolutely love and you wanted to tell the world about it – just sure that all six billion individuals on the planet would want to join up with you – didn’t happen.  You revisited what you were doing wrong and questioned your up-line only to be told to do more of the same – didn’t work.  You got frustrated and decided to do a little research on your own to see of there was are other methods or styles that might fit you better – there are.

How do you know this about me you ask – thanks for asking.  When I first started trying to build my business I set myself back several months trying to ‘reinvent the wheel.’ I have three words for you – what the heck?

Let me back up a little and explain.  When I first met and started working with Ann it was in another network marketing training program and it was sometime in March. I got signed up, secured my weekly assignments and began the process of learning.  However at the same time I was learning and believing it would work – I began trying to reinvent the wheel. I started picking out things I decided I would use and started rejecting others – bad idea.

For example, I did not see the value in tracking and decided in about 2.2 seconds that this was not necessary and I rejected it – besides the sheets looked to ‘dat-blamed’ confusing.  I didn’t like the scripts either so out they went – another bad idea.  Well this continued on for awhile and finally around July I decided I was armed and dangerous enough to start working leads on a serious basis.

So I started making calls and nothing happened, absolutely nothing, nadda, zip, zero!  I struggled along with this for about six weeks.  One day it dawned on me that I was working with folks who were achieving success AND they were doing so by following exactly what they were being taught!

So I made up my mind that from that moment forward I was going to follow the process exactly  – including the stinkin’ tracking which I swore I’d never do – and put this thing to the test – good idea.  I spent that day getting myself up to speed on the process and how it ‘should’ be done.

The next day I picked up the phone and using the consultative approach I learned from The New Conceptual Selling, proceeded to sponsor 11 people in 10 days!  I decided to follow the training and system that had been put into place that was working.

I want to see each and every one of you succeed and so I share this story in an attempt to help you get on track to success.  Why would you want to keep trying things that are not working and are not causing your business to grow?  Give it a try and see if I’m not right – I know I am – I just want you to discover it for yourself.

Stop trying to reinvent the wheel – get your head in this game and you will end up with the business of your dreams!!!

Ya’ll Be Blessed!
